phpRoster Web Application Privacy Statement
phpRoster is a people networking application. Users can enter as much or as little personal information as they like. The more information users enter, the more other users can learn about them - name, contact information, personal information. That's the benefit - sharing with others and keeping in contact.
If you don't want other users to see your information, don't enter it. Enter as little or as much as you feel comfortable sharing. Don't enter information that should be kept private, like passwords, social security numbers, or credit card or other account numbers. I know you know this, but I had to say it.
The webmaster can configure phpRoster to email him (her) whenever information is entered or updated. Therefore, anything a user enters can be seen right away by the webmaster. Also, the webmaster can modify or delete any information any user enters. However, the webmaster may or may not correct or remove any information.
Users should not enter any obscene, defamitory, or slanderous content onto the site. The webmaster may remove any such content at any time, but also may not. If you find such content, contact the webmaster to express your concern.
Although the membership of the site is targeted to the affinity group for which it is intended, others might join. Those joining may be challenged by the webmaster, or may not be. Members can see the published pages, including member pages, lists of members, downloadable pages, and printouts of any pages. Ultimately, each user must decide for himself or herself what to publish on the site and what risk he or she feels comfortable with.
